About Me

Hi! I am a Principal Researcher at Fujitsu Research of India - Bengaluru, where I work on advancing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Prior to joining Fujitsu, I spent two years as a Staff Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India – Delhi, where I worked on large language model (LLM) inference optimization, focusing on improving the efficiency, scalability, and deployment of foundation models. Before Samsung, I spent 4.5 wonderful years as a Staff Research Scientist at IBM Research - Almaden.

I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, where my research focused on developing deep learning frameworks for unstructured and unreliable data. Prior to that, I completed my Master’s in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, where I was awarded the prestigious DAAD Fellowship to conduct my master’s thesis research at the Computer Vision and Remote Sensing Department, Technical University Berlin, Germany. Earlier, I also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, developing deep learning models for dynamic scene classification and object tracking.

My research interests lie in machine learning and deep learning for unstructured data, with a focus on natural language processing, computer vision, and information theory.
